Apex Triggers Screencast
November 30th, 2007 by Marc Baizman

While reading Steve Anderson’s blog (http://gokubi.com), I was inspired to put up one of our screencasts.

Anand was nice enough to put together a great screencast about creating a basic Apex trigger. This dives into some code but isn’t too technical that the average Salesforce admin can’t understand it. Take a look!

Thanks for the screencast! Been meaning to watch this for weeks, just been sitting in my feed reader & finally found the time tonight.

Looks cool, but after the quick perusal of the code, it doesn’t look to me like it’s going to work if you alter more than one Assessment record at a time. So if you changed a bunch of assessments to closed via API (data loader or whatever), looks to me like it’s only going to close Tasks for one of those assessments.

This may be something you guys fixed a long time ago, but wanted to pass it along, if only for others who may end up watching this.

OR I could be wrong. This is just my best take after a quick look-see.

Thanks for sharing!
